As part of Travel and Culture Photography, Here is the beautiful photo series made on Kathakali Artiste by our author.
“ The objective behind an art is capturing one’s heart ”
In the world of art it is believed that Kathakali originated from Krishnanattam a dance dedicated to Lord Krishna’s life and activities . This was created by Zamorin of Calicut Sri. Manavedan Raja during 1585 – 1658 – AD. The term of Kathakali is derived from katha (Sanskrit) which means story or a conversation of a traditional tale, and kali which means performance and art.
Here are the photographs of an artiste how he gets ready for an act.
