As part of Photojournalism, here is the most beautiful photo story made on streets of Varanasi, India.

Streets of Varanasi

Varanasi is the land of Parameshwar. According to Hindu mythology Varanasi has been formalised by Shiva. This is a place where we can witness the people following the traditional Hindu culture for ages. Another name for Varanasi is Banaras. What attracts tourists to Banaras is that this city is situated on the banks of the holy Ganges. It is not the attractive factor for me but instead the faces in Varanasi made me to be there.

City of Moksha

The streets of Varanasi are very famous. A walk through a gully gives you a whole world of wide experience and mind blowing frames for your camera. Many devotees are present here to gain Moksha by taking a dip in the Ganges. Hence Varanasi is also called the ‘City of Moksha’. What I am trying to disclose here are the frames I captured with my camera during the Varanasi trip.

The life of hard work: Poverty will be the end result even they work hard in the entire life.
The confused lady: Her expressions of life’s uncertainty and confusion is endless.
Gorgeously old: Grand ma was physically old but mentally young.
The nostalgic mood: “Dissolved in her childhood sweet memories”
Seeking Shelter: The pain of homelessness in the eyes made that face more dull.
Still hopeful: It’s really happy to see the little light of hope which is visible on her face.
The life lesson: Her life may be hard. But smile on her face shows that she loves the way things are.
The feel of loneliness: The loneliness in the old age is similar in the whole world.
The moment of enjoyment: As phrase says “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
The aggressive eyes: A dominant look can tear down your confidence.
Home: After all of your achievements, the only thing gives 100% satisfaction is your home.
